Refund policy

Refund and Return Policy

All sales are final due to the nature of our handcrafted skincare products. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds unless your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or is lost in transit.

If your order has an issue, you must contact us at support@gubbahomestead.com within 30 days of delivery (per carrier tracking). After 30 days, no claims, replacements, or refunds will be accepted for any reason.

Once an order has been processed, we cannot make changes — including combining orders, altering products, or editing shipping details.

Each product is handmade in small batches with natural variation. Please review product descriptions and ingredient lists before purchasing to ensure suitability for your needs.

Resolutions for Order Issues

If reported within 30 days of delivery and supported with clear photo evidence, we will review your claim and determine the appropriate resolution. Replacements are prioritized; store credit or refunds may be issued only at our sole discretion.

If your package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, refusal, or failure to claim, you may:

  • Pay to have it reshipped, or

  • Request a refund minus the original shipping cost and a $20 handling fee.

30-Day Results Promise

We stand behind our products — and your results.
Our small-batch skincare is crafted from clean, ancestral ingredients for real, lasting results. Because every skin type is unique, we offer a 30-Day Results Promise for qualifying purchases under the following conditions:

Eligibility Requirements

  • You used the product consistently for at least two full weeks as directed.

  • You contacted us within 30 days of delivery (no exceptions).

  • You provide your order number, clear photos of the product and area of concern, and a short explanation of your experience.

  • The product is less than half-used, in original packaging, and not damaged or altered.

  • You received written authorization (RMA) from our Support Team before any return is made.

Limitations

  • Only one product per household qualifies for review under this promise.

  • Refunds are not automatic and may be issued as store credit or replacement only, at our discretion.

  • Approved refunds are subject to a $20 restocking fee.

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Digital downloads, subscriptions, and final sale items are excluded.

  • The promise is valid once per household, lifetime.

This policy is not a free trial — it’s a fair partnership for genuine customers who consistently use our products.

Shipping Protection

We highly recommend adding Shipping Protection at checkout. If declined, you must file any shipping-related claims directly with the carrier, as we cannot assume liability once an unprotected order leaves our facility.

Product Information and Allergies

Full ingredient lists are provided for every item. It is the customer’s responsibility to review them before purchasing. Gubba Homestead is not liable for allergic reactions or sensitivities.

Always perform a patch test before first use.

Product Variations

Natural variation in scent, texture, or appearance may occur due to temperature and batch differences — these are not defects. During warm months, tallow balms may soften or melt; this does not affect quality and is not grounds for replacement or refund.

Final Sale Items

The following are non-returnable and non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Digital downloads

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked final sale

  • Opened, used, or tampered products

  • Subscription items after 24-hour cancellation window

Return Shipping & Fees

  • Return Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs associated with returning an item. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned package. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • Restocking Fees: We do not charge any restocking fees ($0.00) on returned items.

Policy Abuse

We reserve the right to refuse future orders, refunds, or replacements if abuse or fraudulent activity is suspected, including chargebacks or repeated claims.
